Moosemilk (Luke 2:1-11)

Good morning all,

The word of the day is “moosemilk.”  I don’t think I really even need a reason, do I? What an awesome word. Well, when JC first began his ministry there were a ton of peeps that wanted him to do certain things. He knew that he had a mission, a reason for being on this earth.  And, he knew that with the help of his Father, he was unstoppable. But, as JC would learn early on, navigaing through what he needed to do and what he should pass up would cause him to make tough decisions each day.

“Jesus said to the servants, “Fill the jars with water”; so they filled them to the brim. Then he told them, “Now draw some out and take it to the master of the banquet.” They did so, and the master of the banquet tasted the water that had been turned into wine.” ~Luk 2:7-9

Talk about some of the best moosemilk ever made - the all-new Wine de JC Label… an instant hit with the crowds!  How crazy is that? Even though Jesus did not really think his time had come, he obeyed his mom and took care of business.  My question is: Are you constantly on the lookout for God to do extraordinary stuff in your life, or are you just getting by? My prayer is that you take a moment to thank God for the awesome stuff he has done in your life. If we remember the good stuff that he has done for us, we can focus on what is important, which is expanding our relationship with Him in hopes that others will experience the same joy.

Praying for you,

MO
