Good morning all,
The word of the day is “cloister.” I really like the stuff in the Bible that talks about wisdom. The book of James gets overlooked sometimes, but there is a ton of awesome stuff in this small book. The wisdom theme is seen throughout this book, and James is explicit and making sure that people understand that whatever they do, it should be wrapped around love. In fact, he talks about what it means to an door through tough times.
“Blessed is anyone who endures temptation. Such a one has stood the test and will receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised to those who love him.” ~Jm. 1:12
My question is: what are some of the tests in your life that you believe are pretty tough? Remember that God is always given his promise and the crown of life weights for each of us in heaven. My prayer is that each of you revisits the promise that God made to you, and that as he walks with you and your times of need, that he continually stands you up to the tests you face.
