Turpitude (Ephesians 5:6-14)

Good morning all,

The word of the day is “turpitude.”  The Bible talks about a bunch of stuff relating to the reasons we need God in our lives.  It seems that no matter what time in history, there is always bad stuff happening.  I often wonder to myself when God is going to send back Jesus.  With all of the madness going on on this planet, I pray fervently that the Son will come back sooner than later.

“...for you were formerly darkness, but now you are Light in the Lord; walk as children of Light (for the fruit of the Light consists in all goodness and righteousness and truth)...” ~Eph. 5:6-14

My question is: what does it mean for you to look towards God’s light?  We have been given the chance and privilege to live in righteousness.  My prayer is that you are a light for the love of God to others in this world.  In a time of continued moral turpitude it is important for each of us to be above reproach and give non-believers a reason to want to be a part of this awesome family? Take an opportunity to thank God for his timeless love and grace in your life, and that he would extend that hand to others.

Praying for you,

MO
