Beamish (Psalm 52.1-10)

Good morning all,

The word of the day is "beamish.”  The psalmist captures emotion and understanding with just a few words in today's passage.  I read this and immediately want to be that kind of person.  My God is loving, and wants the best for his children.  Living in the house of God is sometimes the best that we can hope for in the trials and tribulations of life.

“But as for me, I am like a green olive tree in the house of God; I trust in the lovingkindness of God forever and ever.” ~Ps. 52:8

My question is: what kind of person are you on a daily basis?  Can people look to you for a smile and an optimistic outlook on life?  Remember, we all have struggles, but it's the way that we face those challenges in life that help us to witness to others.  By no means do I believe that you must be happy every single moment of your life.  However, I do think that it's important for others to realize that no matter what your circumstances, you are always turning your countenance as one of beamish trust when following Jesus.  My prayer is that you turn your attention on him today and allow him to give you a positive outlook on life.

Praying for you,

MO
