Sisyphean (Proverbs 14:23)

Good morning all,

The word of the day is “Sisyphean.” The writer of Proverbs understood what it meant to work hard. It's not easy to be a king. Putting in hard work is more difficult than just talking about it. Even back in the old days there were a lot of people that were all talk and no do. Work ethic is a timeless virtue.

“In all labor there is profit, But mere talk leads only to poverty.”
~Pr. 14:23

My question is: do you feel like you are getting anywhere in your relationship with God? I'm not saying that we should always feel like we are on top of the world, but we do need to believe that we are moving in a forward direction concerning our relationship with Jesus. My prayer for you is that you take a moment to realize that your work for God is not Sisyphean, or hopeless and endless. God will bring fruit from your actions, prayers, thoughts, and encouragement for others. Go out today and be bold for him and your witness!

Praying for you,

Mo
