Struggle (Hebrews 12:4-12)

Good morning all,

The word of the day is “struggle.” If anyone knew what it meant to struggle, it was the Savior. And the writer of Hebrews right here wants us to make sure that we don't make light of this. Can you imagine taking on the pain and suffering that JC did? It seems that the people here had forgotten a little bit of what it meant to struggle. So, they were reminded.

“In your struggle against sin, you have not yet resisted to the point of shedding your blood.”
~Heb. 12:4

When it comes to our careers I think we are ready for the struggle. My question is this: are you willing to embrace the struggle in your spiritual life the way that you are in your career, family, relationships, and all the other stuff that you face daily? I think the struggle of life is something that we all know is going to happen. My prayer for you is that you continually look at your spiritual life and remember that the Savior has called you to a higher purpose. Just as the people in Hebrews forgot, sometimes we let other stuff get in the way. JC knows that we're going to struggle. The cool thing is he's always right there to help us through the hard times. Will you look towards God today?

Praying for you,

mo
