Diapason (Psalms 40:3)

Good morning all,

The word of the day is “diapason.”  Specifically, this word has to do with a group of sounds or music that make a beautiful melody.  God knew something about that, as we see all the time in the Bible.  I love reading verses in Scripture about music especially in the Old Testament.  It always seems that when people were pretty excited about stuff they sang a song to God or gave thanks to him by playing instruments and stuff like that.

“And he hath put a new song in my mouth, even praise unto our God: many shall see it, and fear, and shall trust in the LORD.”
~Ps. 40:3

My question for you is: when is the last time that you were able to just sit back and praise God, not necessarily through music but in some way that let him know how much you appreciate his love.  My prayer is that each of us would come together as Christians because we are God’s melody and song.  We are the ones that proclaim his word and his love for others.  Go out today and make somebody understand God’s love.

Praying for you,

mo
