Tardigrade (Romans 12:1-2)

Good morning all,

The word of the day is “tardigrade.” The Bible has many stories about transformation of people. As a part of God's family each of us can look to the scriptures to encourage one another that hanging in when we don't necessarily think transformation is happening fast enough is important. The process does not always happen as fast as we would like, but trusting in God's timing will keep us on track.

Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God—this is your spiritual act of worship. 2 Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.
~Rom 12:1-2

My question is: do you look to God for continual transformation in your life? My prayer is that when you feel like God's movement in your life is tardigrade, or slow in movement, that you remember how important faithfulness in your life towards God is in the process. Take an opportunity to revisit God's work in your life and thank him for moving you closer towards him on a continual basis.

Praying for you,

mo
