Good morning ladies,
The word of the day is “troth.” There are a ton of books in the Bible tha are
pretty easy to read. One of the ones that I read often when I was a new
Christian was the Psalms. The reason I did this was that I could really relate
with those specific writers. There were times where they were up, there were
times when they were down. And of course, there were times all in between of
both the good and bad. The Bible is filled with instances of faithfulness and
ideas of what it means to follow God. Much of these have to do with the way
people respond to God. But before one can respond to God, we must understand
the nature of his being.
But
you, O Lord, are a compassionate and gracious God, slow to anger, abounding in
love and faithfulness.
Ps. 86:15
My question for you is: on a scale from 1 to 10, where do
you rate on your faithfulness level. The cool thing is that no matter how you respond
to God, his faithfulness, or troth, is always off the charts. That's the reason
that he sent his son as a ransom for many. My prayer is that you take some time
to see what it would take for you to raise your level just one notch or so. You
would be amazed what you could do for your life, and those around you.
